What is the High School Math Program?
|
|
With a history-based theme, the high school math program, Math Timeline, offers 320 problems to practice the skills tested on the end-of-course exams for Algebra and Geometry. The practice questions in Math Timeline teach important math concepts and provide information about key math figures and moments in history.

What are the Program's Special Features?
|
- Math Timeline contains 320 multiple-choice and gridded-response questions.
- Multiple-choice questions allow your child to receive instructional feedback for each selected answer. For correct answers, the feedback will explain why the answer was correct. For incorrect answers, your child will receive a hint toward the right answer. For a second incorrect response, a full explanation of the solution is provided.
- Gridded-response questions call upon your child to answer without guesswork. Your child will enter an answer on a grid rather than choosing from a set of answers. The same guided learning feedback as in multiple-choice questions will be provided.
- Immediate instructional feedback is provided after every practice question. With this feedback, your child learns right away why an answer choice was right or wrong.
- Includes a calculator and reference sheet with the same functions and content as the end-of-course exams.
- A built-in glossary helps your child better understand math concepts. Children can click on the glossary words in the math questions, see the definitions, and hear the words pronounced.
- The Challenge List provides a list of links to practice problems answered incorrectly by your child. It can be used to further practice the skills your child finds difficult.
- Colorful artwork illustrates key features of problems and stimulates your child's interest.
