POP-UP BLOCKING SOFTWARE
Why can't I see the FCAT Explorer practice program?
You probably have a pop-up blocking program installed on your computer. Such programs are very useful for blocking annoying pop-up ads, but they also prevent the FCAT Explorer from displaying properly.
Pop-up blockers are often included with browsers such as MSN 9.0 and AOL 9.0. Other blockers are automatically installed by file-sharing programs like Kazaa and Bear Share. Additional pop-up blocking programs include:
Zero Popup
E-Anthology
Smart Explorer
AdCrusher Popup Killer
CoffeeCup PopUp Blocker
Consulting Nation Popup XP
Exit Killer
Pop This!
NoPops!
Panicware

PAL Popup Eliminator
Stop-Sign
Yahoo Toolbar Pop-Up Blocker
Google Toolbar Pop-up Blocker
Popup Begone
Popup Blocker
Pop up Commander
Pop-up Stopper

What should I do?
First, find the pop-up blocking program on your computer. It may be found in the lower-right corner of your screen, next to your clock, in the system tray. It may also be found in the list of programs in your Start menu.
Next, try to disable your pop-up blocking program. Right-click on the icon in your system tray and select "disable." If that doesn't work, you can manually delete the pop-up blocking program from your computer. To uninstall or remove a program, use the Add/Remove Programs utility in Windows.
1. Click Start > Settings > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs.
2. Find the name of the pop-up blocking software from the list of programs.
3. Select the program name, then click Remove.
Additional Solutions
Some pop-up blockers can be disabled using the Ctrl key. After you sign in to the FCAT Explorer, press and hold the Ctrl key and click a program name on the menu. The practice program should successfully load in a different browser window.
You can also add www.fcatexplorer.com to your pop-up blocker's list of "safe sites" by configuring the pop-up blocker's settings.
